Kyle Steven Cofield (born January 23, 1987 in Gadsden, Alabama) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball. He was drafted in the 8th round of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. He bats and pitches right-handed.[1]
Cofield was traded from the Atlanta Braves to the Chicago White Sox for Scott Linebrink after the 2010 season.[2] On November 23, 2011, he signed a minor league contract with Pittsburgh.
